Help and walkthroughs
Short walkthroughs for the main things you can do. The app is in four sections: Today, You, People and Relationships, with your plan, credits and data under Account (top right). The first time you sign in, a walkthrough takes you through adding yourself; you can look through it again any time from Account → Show the walkthrough (a preview: nothing is saved). After that, coming back to the app may offer a short feature tour ("Learn something new?"): choose Show me to see the real buttons one step at a time, or Stop suggesting these, which you can undo from Account. To take any tour whenever you like, choose Account → Feature tours.
Everything here is for self-reflection and entertainment. It isn't therapy or advice of any kind, and it isn't for making decisions about your life; see our Terms of Service.
Start with you
- Open People and choose + Add person.
- Enter your name, full birth name, birth date, time and place. If you don't know the birth time or the full birth name, tick the box for it: the parts that need it are left out.
- Choose Save & generate chart.
- Choose This is me. Your own Today, journal prompts and "you" wording all come from the person marked as you.
Add someone else
Choose their Pronouns (they/them for neutral words like Grandparent), and before saving, tick This is me, or I have their permission (or I'm their parent or guardian). If someone has no pronouns yet, their relationships offer the specific words (for example Grandmother · Grandfather · Grandparent); picking one sets them. For anyone under 18 (from their birth date), profiles and reads are written for a parent about their child, and they're marked Under 18.
- In People, choose + Add person and enter their birth details, the same as for yourself.
- Your plan sets how many people you can keep (see Account). Removing someone frees a spot.
Take the Big Five, or add other results
Show me: Add results you already have
- Open the person and choose Big Five. Answer the questions, then Score my answers. It's scored on your device.
- Already have scores? Choose Enter scores manually instead.
- For MBTI, Enneagram, DISC, Omnia or anything else, choose Other Data and add them. They're woven into the written profile.
Write a profile
Show me: Quick or full deep profile Show me: When something is out of date
- Open the person. In All systems, generate the charts you want included (Human Design and Vedic are optional). When you write it, Systems used lets you untick anything to leave out, down to just the name-based numerology numbers.
- Choose Generate my profile for a quick profile (under a minute), or Generate full deep profile instead (a few minutes; stays saved even if you leave the page).
- Switch between Metaphysical and Professional. The professional version is written the first time you open it, at no cost to your allowance.
- When something changes (new birth details, new results), the profile says it's out of date: Regenerate rewrites it. A rewrite counts toward your plan.
- On Pro, Export profile as PDF saves a copy.
Ask about this
- Under each section of a written profile, choose Ask about this.
- Type a question about that section and choose Ask. You can ask two follow-ups; Start over clears the thread.
- In All systems (or Browse Systems on a phone), each system has Ask about this too: choose What does this mean? for a plain explanation of that chart or result, or ask something specific. It doesn't need a written profile.
- Each question and follow-up counts toward your plan's questions for the month.
Relationships
Show me: Link your people Show me: The relationship map Show me: Write a relationship profile Show me: Compare side by side
- Open someone and choose + Add relationship to say how two people are related: spouse or partner, parent or child, stepparent or stepchild, sibling or half-sibling, grandparent, aunt or uncle, niece or nephew, cousin, in-laws, godparents, friend, coworker, or your own label. Each link works both ways: the reverse is filled in for you. The relationship map in Relationships draws itself from these links, and suggests the ones that follow (a partner's child, for example).
- To make the map easier to read, choose who's in the middle with Center on, tick Only people linked to them, or drag people where you want them. Reset layout puts them back. Untick Show labels for a calmer map, then point at a person or line (on a phone, tap it once) to see just its labels.
- In Relationships, pick two or more people and choose Create relationship profile for a written profile of how they fit together. Your plan sets the group size.
Today and the journal
Show me: Today and your journal Show me: Today for anyone
- Today has the card of the day, the gate of the day and your day number for everyone.
- With a paid plan, it also has your own read of the day and a weekly outlook (the year ahead in your birthday week), from today's sky and your chart, in everyday words. See the astrology under a read shows the astrology behind it.
- Reflection is a private journal prompt, matched to today's sky. Only you can see your answers; they're never sent to the AI.
- Tap anything with a dotted underline (a transit like "Uranus conjunct your Moon", the card, gate or number of the day, a new moon, "Retrograde now") for a short explanation. It's free and doesn't use a question.
- Under your read, Ask about today answers a question about your day ("Why might today feel tense?"). It counts as one of your plan's questions.
- Open someone else and their Today card shows their day; a button like Read Sam's day writes a short read for them. Your plan sets how many a day.
Connections and sharing
Show me: Connect with someone Show me: Share a person Show me: Send a relationship profile
- Choose Connections, then Connect with someone by email and Send invitation. They get an email with a link to accept or decline, and the request also waits for them in the app: a number on People and a notice on Today with Accept and Decline. Each connection shows as one line; click it to open the details.
- Once connected, Share someone (or Share with a connection… on a person) lets them see that person's profile. On some plans you can share only yourself.
- What they share with you appears in your People list, marked as shared by them. You can read it, link them in relationships and include them in relationship profiles; only the person who shared can rewrite it. Anything they haven't generated yet shows as "ask them".
- If they share someone you already have, open your copy and choose This is the same person to link the two. Where details differ, you pick yours or theirs.
- Stop sharing or Disconnect ends it: links and relationship profiles involving that shared person are removed from the other account.
Your plan and what's left
Show me: Your plan and what's left Show me: Your Family plan
- Open Account to see your plan and what's left of each allowance this month (or, on Free, in total).
- Buttons that use an allowance say what's left, like "3 of 10 left this month".
- Nothing is counted for opening, reading or downloading anything already written, for charts, or for your own Today and journal.
Credits
Credits let you keep going when an allowance runs out, or (on Free) write something your plan doesn't include, without changing plans. Your plan's allowance is always used first.
- When an allowance is used up, the button shows what it would cost in credits instead, like "4 credits".
- The first time, you're asked: "This uses 4 of your 12 credits. Continue?" Tick Don't ask again to skip the question next time; you can turn asking back on under Account.
- If writing fails, the credits are given back.
- Account shows your balance, what credits buy and your history.
What credits buy:
| What | Credits |
|---|---|
| Full person: Human Design, Vedic and a full profile | 4 |
| New full profile | 4 |
| New quick profile | 2 |
| Rewrite a full profile | 3 |
| Rewrite a quick profile | 2 |
| Relationship profile, 2 people | 3 |
| Relationship profile, 3-4 people | 5 |
| 5 questions (Ask about this) | 1 |
| 3 Today reads for other people | 1 |
Never uses credits: opening, reading or downloading anything already written; charts, compare, the map and the relationship chart; your own Today, the weekly outlook and the journal; adding, editing and linking people; sharing and connections.
On Free, a full person unlocks Human Design and Vedic for that one person and covers their first full profile; a later rewrite costs credits.
Credits pay for writing, not keeping: they can't add capacity (more saved people, bigger relationship groups, PDF export). That's a bigger plan. Credits don't expire, have no cash value and can't be transferred. On a Family plan, credits belong to the login that bought them.
Your data
Show me: Your data Show me: Make it yours
- Account → Download all my data gives you everything stored for your account in one file.
- Account → Delete my account removes your account and everything in it, permanently.
